Join Now!Today, developer Friends of Safety and publisher DANGEN ENTERTAINMENT announced that their 80s-themed isometric action role-playing game title ‘Kingdom of Night’ will launch on Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series, and PlayStation 5 consoles on 5 November.
First made available on PC via Steam back in December, this announcement for Kingdom of Night arrives with a new Console Release Date Trailer, taking players into an ordinary Friday night in 1987 that has gone straight to hell. Demons roam the streets, a satanic cult has unleashed an ancient evil, and John and his friends are all that stand between their hometown and the forces of Baphomet.
Additionally, PlayStation 5 players can descend deeper into the night with the exclusive Kingdom of Night — MIDNIGHT EDITION. This special edition includes the complete game and the “NIGHT OF ’97” PSN Avatar Collection, featuring 25 exclusive PSN avatars based on the characters of Kingdom of Night.
Kingdom of Night is an 80s-inspired isometric action RPG where coming-of-age drama meets cosmic horror.
When a satanic cult unleashes the ancient evil Baphomet on the small town of Miami, Arizona, high school student John must fight through a night of demonic chaos to rescue his friends before the town is lost forever.
Choose from five distinct classes—Barbarian, Knight, Rogue, Necromancer, or Sorcerer—and customize your build with expansive skill trees, powerful loot, and unique equipment. Explore the town freely, battle terrifying Demon Generals in any order, uncover the stories of Miami’s residents, and descend into massive demon lairs.
Face the apocalypse alone or team up with a friend in two-player local co-op to save Miami before the night ends.
Friday night just became the end of the world.
