The first few weeks of EA FC 27 Ultimate Team are bound to be great, as everyone works on building their starter teams to kick off the new title. As good as some highly rated Gold cards are early doors, nothing beats collecting promo cards, and Ones to Watch is the first on the list this year.
That said, unlike the usual promos, you won’t find them in packs. Instead, you’ll need to complete Objectives and SBCs, as well as work your way through the first Season Pass.
Some elite cards are up for grabs, and they’re upgradeable too, assuming they perform well in the coming weeks of the football season. Here’s every Ones to Watch card releasing in EA FC 27, as well as how to earn them and what’s required to see them upgraded.
Ones To Watch Release Date & Start Time In EA FC 27
Ones to Watch players are expected to be available as soon as the game goes live, so starting September 18, 2026.
Usual promo cards go live every Friday, as the new batch of players gets stuffed into packs ready for you to try and find. However, Ones to Watch is different. Although they count as campaign cards, they’re earned primarily in the Season Pass, though a few are also up for grabs via Objectives or SBCs.

With that in mind, a lot of these cards should be available throughout Season 1, but there’s still no specific date for when that should come to an end. Judging by EA FC 26, expect the Season to last around a month, which should be more than enough time to work through the Pass and earn the cards that you’re after.
Every Leaked Ones To Watch Player In EA FC 27
So far, 20 Ones to Watch cards have been leaked for EA FC 27, and they include some players who are bound to be meta for the early game.
The leaks come courtesy of ASY FUT on X, though there is some uncertainty surrounding Ousmane Diomande’s inclusion, as some leaks don’t include him in the Season Pass or Objectives.

That said, the likes of Lacroix and Yan Diomande are two that stand out, though there are also a host of decent wingers that could easily slot into plenty of teams. Given that they’re not pack-dependent, all you need to do is work your way through the Season Pass and use the ones you like—as well as complete a few Objectives and SBCs along the way.

Ones To Watch Upgrade Path & Requirements In EA FC 27
Ones to Watch cards can be upgraded four times, as each player is a live card in EA FC 27 Ultimate Team.
That means that, should the player or their club hit certain milestones, their in-game card will see an upgrade. In this case, a host of +1 Overall upgrades are up for grabs, meaning some cards could get lifted into the high 80s.
